Clearwater Lake Tours
Not for the faint of heart.
Cross country ski into a winter wonderland. This is the summer road into the lake but at this time of year the only traffic will be the moose. The ski in is 24km of groomed trail and ends up at the Log Cabin at the South end of Clearwater Lake with views of Osprey Falls. Inside you will find our summertime office – café’ has been transformed into a comfortable cabin. The living room has a gas fireplace and 2 leather chairs with ottomans. We also have a dining table, seating 4 people. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, dishes, cutlery, mugs, cooking utensils, pots, pans and double sinks. The only draw back is no running water; this will have to be hauled from the lake (20 meters). Food for your stay is included in the price + a bottle of wine to set the atmosphere. Sleeping accommodation include inflatable beds 1 in a small loft the other can be set up at bed time in the living room by the fire. The bedding is a duvet with a bottom sheet (Extra Blankets are included). A VHF radio for emergency use. The price for your stay is 160.00 per couple per night and 30.00 p/p/night for more than 2 people.

Wells Gray Park is a Winter wonderland. Situated 25km inside Wells Gray Park Helmcken Falls Lodge is pleased to offer world class cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, wildlife viewing and spectacular scenery. All of this can be experienced whilst staying in one of our cosy rooms or log cabins.
All meals are included in our Winter Special packages, served in our licensed restaurant and lounge, with views of the Trophy Mountains.
We also cater to snowmobile groups, here to experience world class riding in the local area. We can arrange a snowmobile tour with machine rental for beginners new to the sport.
Dog sledding and ice fishing are also available locally. Minimum 2 night stay in winter.
