Averaging 10 metres of snowfall per year the compacted base in the alpine is usually 3 metres or more. Snowpacks tend to be more stable then then in the Rockies. Terrain is a great mix of alpine, sup-alpine and naturally gladed trees. Once you have experienced the skiing in Wells Gray, you will want to make the trek back every year.
